The Core Bus Corridor that most affects our area is No.12 - Rathfarnham to City Centre

Section 4.4 on pages 15-16 presents the proposals for Charleville Road to Dame Street, including the instruction of a BusGate on the Lower Rathmines Road to close the road to through traffic by cars, diverting city-bound car traffic down Castlewood Avenue/ Charleston Road to Ranelagh. It is also proposed to close Mountpleasant Avenue to through traffic by car.

Maps 11-14 show the proposals for Lower Rathmines Road.
