Dublin City Council granted permission on 12th January 2012  Ref 3538/11 
The Association then appealed against this decision 
to An Bord Pleanála as did:
  • Rathmines Initiative
  • Failte Ireland
  • Chomhairle Ealaionn
An Bord Pleanála granted permission for 14 housing units on the 9th January 2013

A new application was made on 28-Nov-2014, for 16 residential housing units (Ref. 3766/14)

DCC asked for additional information on 27th January 2015 and granted permission on 4th November 2015
The Association then appealed against this decision to An Bord Pleanála on 1st December 2015

 An Bord Pleanála issued its decision on the Dagg's site on 18th April


The Board decision was to allow the development, subject to the apartment block being reduced in height by one floor, as well as the remodelling of the internal layout of the dwellings. (Rebalancing between living room and bedroom space, to give more living room
