New proposal to block Mountpleasant Ave.

Residents may be interested to see the latest proposal (link below) to block Mountpleasant Avenue to cars.

This follows last year's proposal which the Association opposed by writing to our local Councillors.

Then, in November 2020, the BusConnects document for Core Bus Corridor 12 (Rathfarnham to City Centre) proposed that not only the Lower Rathmines Road but also Mountpleasant Avenue should be blocked to through traffic by cars. See pages 15-16, and Map 29
