PALMERSTON PARK - POND TO BE RESTORED

posted 7 Dec 2013, 07:06 by Nicholas Simms   [ updated 10 Jun 2015, 09:51 ]

At a meeting held by DCC Parks Department in Palmerston Park on 10th September, it was announced that the first stage of the renovations recommended in last year’s report (see below) would go ahead in 2015. This would cover the restoration of the pond and the shelter. A number of trees will be removed or trimmed to give greater light to the pond and make the shelter more accessible.

At the Belgrave Residents Association AGM held on 17th October, this news was warmly welcomed.
