On Saturday 20th of June, we as a community are hosting our 2nd "Fair in The Square" in Belgrave Park. Dublin City Council are sponsoring the event..
.It was a great overall success last year, (though it took a lot of work)
Events:
· Live music for all ages,
· Novelty games for kids and adults (giant jenga, 3 legged races, egg and spoon, boules etc.)
· Tea & coffee & some food,
· Treasure hunt,
· Face painting
· And, if more funding is available, hopefully a few more kinds of entertainment. (All free)
The all-important Dog Show for the local mutts was a great success last year...This year, it is expected the dog show will be bigger and better!
As an inclusive event, residents and friends are invited, as are the older community, the Women's Refuge centre, all the local schools and parishes and newcomers to Rathmines.

Donations of cakes, sweets, soft drinks etc. would be very welcome.
A Table Quiz to fund raise for this event will take place in Rody Boland’s Bar on Friday 5th. June, starts 8 pm, table of 4 €40.
