Noise Control

Residents in the neighbourhood recently had problems with late night noise coming from a local beer garden. However, it is good to know that Dublin City Council have been following up on the condition in the planning permission which requires “a scheme............. for the effective control of noise from the premises” and that some serious construction changes have been made to comply with this.

In addition, there is a second condition that loudspeaker sounds should not “be audible in adjoining premises or at two metres from the the interests of environmental amenity.".
